inteliLIGHT consolidates its presence in the Nordics with a new smart lighting pilot project in Finland
EFFECTIO OY, a Finnish company that specialises in offering technology-ready communications products and solutions, decided to choose inteliLIGHT’s reliability and premium-quality to modernise the public lighting service in the Nordics.
The new year comes bearing excellent news for inteliLIGHT and the smart lighting industry. In 2021, EFFECTIO OY gave its vote of confidence to Flashnet’s street lighting technology and is planning on running a number of smart lighting pilot projects using the inteliLIGHT remote control solution in important Finnish cities such as Tampere.
The company aims to test the efficiency of modern, IoT-ready communication technologies like LoRaWAN and NB-IoT, optimised for low power consumption, low data rate, seamless interoperability among IoT devices, with effortless installation. As far as the streetlight controllers are concerned, Effectio has opted for Zhaga and NEMA sockets – standardised connectors that can be easily mounted on the lamp through plug-and-play installation, which will keep deployment costs at a minimum.
