The new year comes bearing excellent news for inteliLIGHT and the smart lighting industry. In 2021, EFFECTIO OY gave its vote of confidence to Flashnet’s street lighting technology and is planning on running a number of smart lighting pilot projects using the inteliLIGHT remote control solution in important Finnish cities such as Tampere.
The company aims to test the efficiency of modern, IoT-ready communication technologies like LoRaWAN and NB-IoT, optimised for low power consumption, low data rate, seamless interoperability among IoT devices, with effortless installation. As far as the streetlight controllers are concerned, Effectio has opted for Zhaga and NEMA sockets – standardised connectors that can be easily mounted on the lamp through plug-and-play installation, which will keep deployment costs at a minimum.
inteliLIGHT is always looking to find the most effective, environmentally conscious innovations, keeping ahead of the market and perfecting its future-proof technology. All communication technologies, hardware and control software supported by inteliLIGHT are designed to facilitate a smooth integration with third-party applications and IoT platforms. The inteliLIGHT solution is flexible and can easily adapt to the modern technological requirements such as adaptive lighting, making a real difference for Smart City developments.
“In a market where quality and reliability are notorious, it is natural for smart city providers to choose a lighting solution with such a solid track record as inteliLIGHT. We are prepared to give the upper hand to municipalities with inteliLIGHT, an effective, environment-conscious public lighting solution that will allow them to save energy, reduce maintenance costs and improve citizens’ overall quality of life.” Lorand Mozes, CEO Flashnet
